Lions Club Partnership

 

Lions Club International is a voluntary organisation made up of nearly 1.4 million members in 206 countries.

 

The ethos of the organisation is a commitment to the service of their communities and those in need. The Lions Club has been supporting Dentaid since 2001, and is mainly involved with the collection and delivery of donated dental equipment from around the UK. 81 deliveries were made between May 2010 and May 2011.
They also raise funds for and sponsor Dentaid projects, including sponsoring dental surgeries and donating over £5,000 towards the Uganda schools oral health programme.
