Coast to Coast bike ride

5 - 7 September 2008

The Coast to Coast bike ride is one of the most popular and well known cycle routes in the UK.  We are offering cyclists the chance to ride the whole route or take part in 1 or 2 days cycling. 

Day 1:  Friday 5 September 2008:  Whitehaven, Cumbria to Penrith, Cumbria  (Approximately 40 miles)

Day 2:  Saturday 6 September 2008: Penrith, Cumbria to Stanhope, Durham  (Approximately 39 miles)

Day 3:  Sunday 7 September 2008:  Stanhope, Durham  to  Tynemouth, Newcastle  (Approximately 35 miles)

To take part all you need to do is raise £250 sponsorship money, plus the trip expenses and a £50 deposit to confirm your place.

This event is being organised in partnership with Denplan and is open to anyone would like to part.  This cycling challenge follows on from the success of the 2007 John O'Groats to Land's End bike ride, which we are hoping to repeat in 2009.  View other partnership events
