YOU RAISED OVER £15,000 FOR DENTAID, THANKS VERY MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED AND TO THOSE OF YOU WHO TOOK PART.
The Great North Run is the world's biggest half marathon. It is a point-to-point 13.1 miles (21 kilometres) course that starts in Newcastle and finishes in South Shields. Since it first began in June 1981, 642,221 people have crossed the finish line at South Shields. A total of 8,027,758 miles have been run since the race began, that’s about 308 times around the world!
