This mixed school is situated in the suburbs of Kabale. The school has eight classrooms with a current enrolement of 336 pupils.  As a result of HIV/AIDS 80% of the pupils are orphans. Living in the suburbs, there is no farming and families have little or no income. Nutritional status is poor because of low income and little food production.

This mixed school is situated in low land in a densely poulated area 3km from Kabale. The school has nine classrooms, which are often water logged.  Sanitation is poor. 90% of people in the area are unemployed. There are 383 pupils in the school, coming from poor peasant families without land to grow food. 196 pupils are orphans. The staple food is sweet potatoes.
