A fundraising dental worker has been honoured for her tireless efforts to bring in money for a charity with an award.

Emma Clithero, who is an oral health educator at Oakham Dental Studio, was recently named as one of the top-10 fundraisers for Dentaid charity.

The charitable organisation provides equipment, training and oral health services to hospitals, clinics, and dentists in the developing world.

Last year Emma helped to bring in £525 to the charity and was given an award at a Dentaid ceremony.

She said "It's nice to be recognised by a charity for the hard work helping raise funds."
