Bright Bites is a UK oral health education initiative developed in partnership with and part-funded by the English Department of Health. The UK’s largest school oral health education initiative ever, Bright Bites involved the development of a high-quality school oral health education package, designed to meet the exact learning outcomes of the national education curriculum.

Based around an interactive CD-ROM, in 2006, a Bright Bites teaching pack was sent free to all 17,528 state primary schools in England, as well as every English PCT (Primary Care Trust).

Dentaid is also supplying these resources to hundreds of dental practices around the UK. The evaluation is due to be completed in 2007.
