Oral Health Promotion is one of Dentaid’s four major strategic priorities for improving oral health for disadvantaged communities around the world.

In October 2008, Dentaid launched a school oral health programme in 5 primary schools in Cameroon. This has been based upon a holistic oral health model Dentaid has developed including on-site screening and dental treatment, oral health education and finally daily fluoride tooth brushing programmes
