Dentaid staff include some of the leading experts worldwide on oral health in middle and low-income countries and appropriate oral health responses.

Dentaid can provide lectures and seminars in a number of areas:-

 

Training/advising general health and international development NGOs/charities

Ideal for Project directors and managers, components can include seminars on:- Oral health in middle and low-income countries, different intervention approaches, implementing new oral health programmes, incorporating oral health as part of existing programmes, evaluation, specific training needs.

Talks and lectures to UK dental groups and other interested parties

Every year, Dentaid provides dozens of lectures and seminars to thousands of dental professionals and other interested groups.

Depending on time and requirements, lectures can be developed to include the following components:- Introduction to oral health in middle and low income countries, history of intervention, alternative oral health approaches, information on Dentaid’s programmes and approaches.

If your group or organisation would like a Dentaid member of staff to give a presentation or lecture, please contact Louise at louise@dentaid.org  with name, details and details of your requirements.  A speaker’s fee and expenses, or a commitment to fundraise for Dentaid, will be welcomed. (Please note – due to staff time and availability, Dentaid regrettably cannot commit to all speaking invitations.)
