“I hate talking or smiling at people because of the way my teeth look. I feel I come across as cold because I don’t seem very welcoming. I’m very self-conscious of the way my teeth look and this has led me to being depressed. I haven’t been able to access a dentist in years. To be honest I didn’t want to go to see the dentist because I was embarrassed with the way my teeth looked. For people that are homeless, they often don’t care for their teeth. Providing a service that comes to them is much more efficient than telling someone they need to go and book an appointment. Having the service come to them is a much better way and makes them feel more comfortable when it’s just outside of where they live”.
