This is an exciting time for the dental charity Dentaid.  We have recently relocated to new premises near Southampton, our rapidly growing UK programme is front page news and we are increasing access to dental care around the world.  We now have an opportunity for a dynamic and creative fundraiser to lead our fundraising programme and take our income to the next level.

The successful applicant will be responsible for growing our income from trusts, grants and statutory bodies to support Dentaid’s work in the UK and overseas.  You’ll also lead on developing corporate partnerships both within the dental industry and further afield.  The postholder will oversee and develop our fundraising events programme and manage the Events and Community Fundraiser. 

They will work closely with the CEO and Communications Director on business development, fundraising campaigns, stewardship and a strategy to increase donations.

Dentaid is a small but ambitious charity and this is a wide-ranging and exciting role for someone with lots of ideas and a flexible approach.  Reporting to the CEO, this is a senior role with scope to develop and direct Dentaid’s fundraising strategy and increase access to safe, sustainable dental care in the UK and overseas as a result.

You will be:

An experienced fundraiser with a proven track record in securing funding from trusts, foundations and statutory bodies.

Someone with the confidence to seek new business opportunities and corporate partnerships and ensure they fulfil their potential.

A creative fundraiser with the ability to grow Dentaid’s fundraising programme and achieve maximum income from existing events.

A team player who can work with colleagues to lead and implement Dentaid’s fundraising strategy.

The person who can transform Dentaid’s rapidly rising profile into income.

Someone who cares that 70  percent of the world’s population has no access to dental care and shares our passion to do something about it.

In return we offer:

Flexible working – the role is 30 hours a week, days and hours by agreement and we are willing to discuss the possibility of some home working.

25 days holiday rising to 27 after 2 years plus bank holidays (pro rata)
