Our values
At Dentaid the Dental Charity our values shape every aspect of the work we do. They guide our decision-making, drive our commitment to innovation, and reflect our commitment to making dental care accessible to those who need it most. We know that oral health is about more than just teeth; it is about dignity, restoring confidence, and overall wellbeing. This is why we have a compassionate and flexible approach to breaking down barriers to access, so people experiencing health inequalities can receive the care they need. Our team, supporters, and volunteers are united by our goal to change lives through dental care.
We are: A dynamic, pioneering charity that finds innovative ways of breaking down barriers to ensure under-served communities can access dental care.
We believe: Oral care can change lives and our inclusive, non-judgmental service improves our patients’ confidence, health and wellbeing.
We provide: A compassionate, empathetic approach where we listen to our patients and offer volunteers the chance to help the most vulnerable people in their communities.
We know: We are experts in the care we provide and our innovative mobile charity dental clinics are uniquely placed to meet a growing need.
We understand: Our patients face many challenges in their lives and our adaptable service gives them the best possible chance of accessing dentistry.
